I was born in the Czech Republic, in Jičín. I studied German, History, English, French and dramaturgy at the Palacky University in Olomouc (CZ), Bayreuth (D), Cambridge (GB), Salzburg (A), Klagenfurt (A) and Düsseldorf (D). I worked in the theatre, as a dramaturgist in municipal theatres in Klagenfurt (A) and Düsseldorf (D).
